Keep in mind that when you are not feeling well, mentally or physically, it is harder to manage your triggers. Make sure that you are well-rested and have eaten enough if you think you will be in a situation where a trigger will arise.
- Don’t test your boundaries. Putting yourself in a situation where you know triggers will be is not a good idea. For example, don’t go to your old favorite bar just to get dinner. There are more places to discover and it is not worth the chance that you might relapse.
